Job Description
OBI Seafoods, LLC, is looking to fill 3 Roe Supervisor positions at its plants in Bristol Bay, Valdez-Cordova, Seward, Petersburg, Dillingham, Egigik, and Larsen Bay. These are temporary, full-time positions, and we are looking to fill approximately 3 job openings for employment from: 05/01/2021 to 09/30/2021. OBI Seafoods, LLC is located at 1100 West Ewing Street, Seattle, WA 98119.

Job Duties: The Roe Supervisors supervise the Roe Techs with the grading, agitation, curing, packing, and usage of additives in the production and the shipping of Japanese style Roe. They will also be responsible for keeping the precise records of production, shipping and be involved with the instructions of US trainees.

Pay: Employer is offering at least 40 hours/week at $28.74 per/hour. Mon-Sun, 6:00AM 12:00AM (daily/shift schedule varies). Overtime is available as needed at a rate of $43.11 per/hour.

Job Requirements: No minimum education required. At least 
24 months of training and 24 months of work experience required. A pre-employment criminal background check will be required. Supervisors must be experienced in the grading and processing of Japanese style Roe and also be familiar with the Japanese market requirements.

Transportation: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. The employer will provide transportation to and from worksite at no cost to workers.

Housing: Optional Employer Housing provided for $15 per day.

Tools, supplies and equipment: Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Other Employment Guarantees: A single workweek will be used for computing wages due and workers will be paid every 2 weeks. The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions, which are not required by law. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees), incurred by the H-2B worker.
