Black Diamond Resort Co, is recruiting for six (6) temporary, full time, seasonal Food Preparation to work from April 1st, 2021 to September 30th, 2021.Black Diamond Resort Co, located at One Mile Otto Lake Road in Healy, Alaska 99743 (907) 683-4653.Job duties: include Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Portion and wrap the food, and place it directly on plates for service to patrons. Prepare a variety of foods, such as meats, vegetables, or desserts.Location of Work : Work will be performed at Black Diamond Resort Co in Healy, Alaska.Experience : Employer will provide on the job training. No experience is required and there are no minimum education requirements.Tools and Supplies : The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.Schedule : Work hours will be scheduled at 40 hours per week from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; 5 days per week with two days off.Pay : Workers will be paid no less than $13.13 per hour. Overtime is $19.70 per hour (paid at time and a half). Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on Friday (biweekly) by check. The employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law.Transportation :If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15 per day during travel to a maximum of $55 per day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).3/4ths Guarantee : The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
