Job Description
Big Creek Fisheries, LLC (Big Creek) is looking to fill 40 Seafood Processor positions at its plant at Egegik Shore Plant, Egegik, Alaska 99579. These are temporary, full-time positions, and we are looking to fill approximately 40 job openings for employment from: 05/15/2021 to 09/1/2021. Phone: (425)7472-8609. Big Creek Corporate Offices arelocated at 3900 Railway Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.

Job Duties:Will process seafood. Will work on hand butcher line, use hand, and hand tools to perform routine cutting and trimming. They will wash, size and grade the seafood and load the processed seafood onto freezer baskets or into cartons for shipping. Employer is offering at least 40 hours/week at $12.36/hr. Mon-Sun, 6:00AM 12:00AM (daily/shift schedule varies). Overtime is available as needed at a rate of $18.54/hr.

Job Requirements: No minimum education, training, or experience required.

Transportation: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. The employer will provide transportation to and from worksite at no cost to workers.

Housing:Optional Employer Housing provided at no cost to the worker.

Tools, supplies and equipment: Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Other Employment Guarantees: A single workweek will be used for computing wages due and workers will be paid every 2 weeks. The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions, which are not required by law. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees), incurred by the H-2B worker.
